Why it is important all children are represented in our cards

In today's world, representation is more important than ever. We all want to see ourselves reflected in the world around us, whether it's in movies, TV shows, or even in something as simple as a greetings card.

That's why we feel it's important for all children to be able to see themselves represented in our cards.

Whether it's a birthday card, a congratulatory card, or a holiday card, every child deserves to feel seen and valued.

When children don't see themselves represented in the world around them, it can have a negative impact on their self-esteem and confidence. They may feel like they don't belong or that their experiences and identities don't matter.

This can lead to feelings of isolation and even depression. That's why we, as a society, need to strive to make sure that all children are represented.

We need to make sure that children of all races, ethnicities, religions, abilities, and genders can see themselves in the cards they receive.

Representation matters, and it's up to all of us to make sure that every child feels seen and valued. By prioritising representation in our cards, we can do our bit to help create a world where all children feel like they belong and where diversity is celebrated.
